It is probably wrong that after spotting this on slashdot I actually considered building a couple of these for my poor miserable plants.
However, I don't think twitter is the answer. I think getting off my behind and refilling the watering can might be the solution for my droopy plants.
My house hunt has barely begun, and already I have too many options. None of them are perfect (obviously), but the pro/con lists have so few overlaps! It is hard to decide what is going to be the best fit for me (and my dog(s)). How important is an established neighborhood v. proximity to downtown? How much space do I actually need v. how much space do I want? Am I capable of taking on some major "fixer" projects? And oh yeah, that impending house payment. Where's that money really coming from again?
Today's favorite? Built in 1956, it has big windows and a mid-century flair. It's on the small side (just under 900 square feet), but has a fenced back yard and a ton of potential. Oh, and it is CHEAP. I have to thank my self-appointed realtor for finding this one for me. Everything else that has piqued my interest has an asking price nearly 20K higher. The major issue with it's curb appeal (at least in this picture) is the brown lawn. Since it is currently sitting under a heap of snow, not so much an issue today!
