shivering in june

This thought occurs to me pretty much hourly as soon as the outside temperatures rise above 80 degrees: AIR CONDITIONING DOES NOT NEED TO BE SET AT 68 DEGREES IN AN OFFICE ENVIRONMENT. Let me explain. In an office environment, the people primarily remain stationary. They sit at desks, they take short walks to asscoffee machines, water coolers, lavatories, and neighboring offices. They do not expend a great deal of energy doing any of these activities. However, since the temperatures outside are over 80 degrees and it is seasonally appropriate to wear short sleeved shirts, sandals, and perhaps skirts these office workers [read: me] will FREEZE when remaining stationary at 68 degrees. Especially if there is an a/c vent positioned directly over their heads.

Anyway, I'm cold. Lots of knitting to share, but since it is primarily gifts y'all will have to wait till after the shower this weekend. Also, went camping and did other stuff. How does summer get so full so fast! Especially since summer doesn't officially start until tomorrow. Harumpf.
